Nordpower – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern all purchases made through the Nordpower website. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

Nordpower (“we”, “us”, “our”) designs and manufactures premium, made-to-order saunas.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms apply to:

  • All orders placed via our website

  • All made-to-order sauna products

  • Any related services unless otherwise stated in writing

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and understood:

  • Product descriptions

  • Technical specifications

  • Estimated delivery timeframes

  • Our Returns & Refund Policy

3. Made-to-Order Products

All Nordpower saunas are manufactured to order.

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period.

4. Orders & Payment

Order Confirmation

An order is considered confirmed once payment (or deposit, where applicable) is received and acknowledged by Nordpower.

Deposits

Where a 50% deposit is accepted:

  • The deposit secures materials, labour, and production scheduling

  • Deposits become non-refundable once production begins

Full Payment

If full payment is made at checkout, the same conditions apply once production has commenced.

5. Cancellations

Before Production Begins

Cancellations requested before production begins may be accepted at our discretion and may be subject to deductions for costs already incurred.

After Production Begins

Once production has begun:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled

  • Payments are non-refundable

Production is deemed to have begun once materials are allocated, manufacturing is scheduled, or fabrication commences.

6. Pricing & Errors

All prices are displayed in GBP unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to:

  • Correct pricing errors

  • Cancel orders where pricing errors are evident

  • Adjust prices prior to order confirmation

7. Delivery

Timeframes

Estimated delivery times (typically 70–90 days) are provided as guidance only and may vary due to material availability, logistics, or external factors.

Delivery Responsibility

  • Free UK delivery is included unless otherwise stated

  • Customers must ensure suitable access for delivery

  • Failed deliveries due to customer unavailability may incur additional charges

8. Installation

Professional installation may be available for an additional fee.

Where installation is carried out by third parties:

  • Nordpower is not responsible for workmanship

  • Electrical connections must be completed by a certified electrician

9. Inspection & Acceptance

Customers must inspect their sauna upon delivery.

Any issues relating to:

  • Damage

  • Missing components

  • Manufacturing defects

must be reported within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence.

10. Warranty

Nordpower provides a 2-year warranty covering:

  • Structural components

  • Heating systems

The warranty does not cover:

  • Natural movement, expansion, or contraction of wood

  • Weathering or cosmetic changes

  • Damage caused by improper installation or misuse

  • Failure to follow care and maintenance guidance

11. Natural Materials Disclaimer

Wood is a natural material and may vary in:

  • Grain

  • Colour

  • Texture

  • Expansion and contraction due to heat and humidity

These characteristics are not considered defects.

12. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

In summary:

  • Returns are not accepted for made-to-order products

  • Refunds are only issued where legally required or where a remedy cannot be provided

13. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Any chargebacks raised contrary to these Terms or our Refund Policy may be formally disputed using documented evidence of acceptance at checkout.

14. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, photographs, and written content remain the intellectual property of Nordpower.

They may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nordpower shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Losses arising from delays outside our control

  • Installation or electrical work carried out by third parties

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

16. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

18. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time of order shall apply
