Nordpower Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to all orders placed with Nordpower.


1. Made-to-Order Production

All Nordpower saunas are handcrafted to order.

Once an order is confirmed:

  • Materials are allocated

  • Production is scheduled specifically for the customer

  • The order cannot be redirected, substituted, or cancelled once production begins


2. Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery time is 70–90 days from order confirmation.

Delivery timelines are:

  • Estimates only

  • Subject to production schedules, supplier availability, and logistics conditions

Delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.


3. Shipping Coverage

3.1 United Kingdom

  • Free delivery within mainland UK

  • Remote or restricted-access locations may require additional fees (quoted prior to dispatch)

3.2 International Shipping

  • International delivery may be available upon request

  • Duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and import charges are the responsibility of the customer


4. Delivery Method

Saunas are delivered via:

  • Specialist freight or palletised delivery

  • Curbside delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing

Customers are responsible for:

  • Ensuring adequate access

  • Ensuring suitable ground conditions

  • Being present or appointing a representative at delivery

Failed deliveries caused by customer absence or access restrictions may incur redelivery fees.


5. Installation Services

Professional installation may be available for an additional service fee.

Unless installation is purchased:

  • Nordpower is not responsible for unloading, positioning, or assembly

  • Electrical connections must be completed by a certified electrician


6. Risk & Ownership Transfer

Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery to the specified address.

Once delivered:

  • The customer assumes responsibility for storage, protection, and handling

  • Nordpower is not liable for damage caused after delivery


7. Delivery Inspection

Customers must inspect the delivery immediately upon receipt.

Any issues relating to:

  • Visible damage

  • Missing components

  • Incorrect items

must be reported within 7 days of delivery, supported by clear photographic or video evidence.

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.


8. Failed or Refused Deliveries

If delivery fails or is refused due to:

  • Inadequate access

  • Absence at delivery

  • Failure to prepare the site

Any resulting costs (storage, redelivery, handling) will be charged to the customer.


9. Storage

Where delivery is delayed at the customer’s request:

  • Short-term storage may be provided at our discretion

  • Extended storage may incur additional fees

Maximum storage duration is subject to availability.


10. Force Majeure

Nordpower is not responsible for delivery delays caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Supplier shortages

  • Transport disruptions

  • Weather events

  • Acts of God or governmental restrictions
